Under the creative guidance of founder Maika Winter, our studio’s unique design “language” is drawn from years of developing a broad base of architectural, historical and design perspectives, accumulated from a passion for world travel and a wide-ranging portfolio of project experience in many genres of luxury design.
Maika received her BS in Interior Design with a Minor in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati’s acclaimed College of DAAP. In 2009, after working for several noteworthy design firms in California and Arizona, Winter Creative was born, with the intention of bringing a unique artistic vision and a passion for innovation to the luxury design industry. We pride ourselves on our ingenuity, seeing the world through a different lens that relies on an old-school creative process that utilizes the environment and the human spirit as inspiration.
Our award-winning studio is known for its tailored, highly customized projects that possess a curated, timeless style with a flair for the dramatic. Our Philosophy
“In every project there is a balance to be found between the art of space and the function of living. Finding this equilibrium is always the ultimate design challenge.”
